INT: Danielle plays with dolls/toys in a little girl’s room

She talks through the dolls in the following sequence:

Girl Doll: Hi Doctor, (coughs) I’m sick.

Doctor Doll: I’m sorry, but we don’t have any more of your medicine. There’s a shortage of important prescription drugs

Girl doll: Oh no! But I have a serious disease. Why aren’t there enough?

Doctor: Drug companies don’t make enough profits on the drugs you need the most, so they don’t pay much attention to them. Young lady, the medicine you need isn’t attractive to drug companies.

Girl doll: Then I’ll give them a makeover!

INT: Girl’s bedroom. Shots of Danielle “making over” prescription pill containers, heavily Improvising

Shot: Cutting construction paper

Shot: Gluing hair on the lid

Shot: Drawing smiles

Shot: Sticking on celebrity faces

Shot: Giving funny names like: Sugar Regulator (a superhero),

Shot: “Look, I Cure Cancer, and I have boobs!”

Maybe now drug companies will look at something besides profits when deciding which drugs to manufacture. And maybe now, everyone who’s waiting for treatment can actually receive it!
