Uncle Vic’s Kitchen – Basic Sauce

Uncle Vic is upset because Backdoor Barry has been skimming. Coco consoles him in this episode about Basic Sauce.

In a hot saucepan saute:
3 tbs olive oil
2 tbs crushed garlic
2 large onions finely chopped

Then, add:
Large can of crushed tomatoes (or tomato sauce)
1/2 tbs oregano
2 tbs basil

Turn the heat down and let simmer for one hour (covered). Stir occasionally.
